Red Deer  1. August - 31. January

  European red deer is found in the forests surrounding the Danube River. Most of the red deer hunting grounds are fenced of for protection of the surrounding farm lands. Most of these hunting grounds are inhabited by both red deer and wild boar. Red deer hunting is done from stands or by stalking. Although the hunting season is from August 1st to January 31st, the best time for hunting is during mating season which takes place first two weeks of September.

  Wild boars are found in the forests surrounding the Danube River. Most of the wild boar hunting grounds are fenced of for protection of the surrounding farm lands. Wild boar hunting is done from stands or by stalking and in some hunting areas a driven hunt may be organized.
